With this, PES has become one among only a few institutions in the country capable of real time space research and study. PISAT, a 3-axis stabilized imagining nano satellite whose design and development was spearheaded by PES was put into the orbit by ISRO’s PSLV on September 26, 2016. 22 crores have been disbursed via scholarships to our students since the inception of PESU in 2014. PESU has instituted a host of merit awards for the students who excel in their studies in the form of Prof. PES boasts of strong industry interaction along with strategic tie ups with top US universities like Carnegie Mellon, Rutgers, University of Illinois – Urbana Champagne, North Eastern University and more. PES has evolved to emerge as a leader in the field of education with an intrinsic SPIRIT (Students, Process, Infrastructure, Research, Identity and Teacher) that sums its Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). PESU started its academic activities from August 2014 and at present, PESU encompasses three campuses in Bangalore, viz, PES University – Main, called Ring Road (RR), Campus, PES University - Electronic City (EC) Campus and PES University - Hanumanth Nagar (HN) Campus. 16 of 2013 through PES University Act 2012 and Government notification on November 19, 2013. PES established PES University (PESU) as a State Private University under Karnataka Act No. This medical school, started in 2002, is one of among top medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh with high end hospital and medical facilities.
PES established PES Institute of Medical Sciences and Research PESIMSR) as the medical arm in Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh. PES offers both foundation courses as well as specialization with Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees. People’s Education Society (PES), founded in 1972, has more than 24,000 students spread across four different campuses in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
